With so much content online today it takes only a few moments to find short documentaries and films related to trail running. I’ve been gathering all mine into a YouTube playlist which I’ve extracted the better ones that I’ve enjoyed and listed below with accompanying links. Other short films I’ve happened upon through the online streaming services appear further down the page, not all of them are included as part of the basic package. The titles don’t always provide a good indication of their content so I’d encourage to click through and read the summaries.

My favourite producer of content is Billy Yang, you can find his YouTube channel here. Good quality footage, editing and storytelling. Definitely worth subscribing too.

Runner’s World magazine published a list of films to get you motivated late 2019, click here for their recommendations.
